The course will present the core concepts of game theory, as applied to the study of politics and governance. Game theory is used to study strategic interactions, where the decision of one actor depends on decisions made by others. Game theory uses mathematical models to describe and understand political and social phenomena. Note: This course counts towards the undergraduate Political Methods subfield.
