We are sad to share that Scott McClurg, PhD alumnus '00, has passed after a 14-year battle with brain cancer. Our deepest condolences go out to his family and loved ones.
Scott McClurg graduated from WashU with his PhD in 2000, and went on to have an impactful career as a Professor at the Southern Illinois University. His most known work leverages social network analysis to better understand political communication, with a particular focus on social influence. Scott himself built a tremendous network of scholars around the world.
