The Department of Political Science is eager to welcome Peng Peng as a postdoctoral scholar in Fall 2024. Peng comes to us from Yale where she was a postdoctoral associate in the McMillan Center, and she is an alumni of Duke Political Science. She studies the politics of state building, state development, and the role of political elites in state building, combining statistical methods with extensive archival research.
