Taylor Carlson, Associate Professor of Political Science, was a guest this week on Total Information AM, a morning radio talk and news show on KMOX in St. Louis. Host Megan Lynch talked to Carlson regarding her new book, Through the Grapevine: Socially Transmitted Information and Distorted Democracy. Carlson discusses how political conversations can fuel a distorted democracy. She also spoke about how, as we near the election, voters should keep sources in mind when talking with co-workers and friends and acknowledge their own opinions in those conversations.
