Betsy Sinclair, Chair of the Political Science Department, was recently officially installed as the Thomas F. Eagleton University Professor of Public Affairs and Political Science. Sinclair was installed by Feng Sheng Hu, Richard G. Engelsmann Dean of Arts & Sciences, and Chancellor Andrew Martin. After her official installation, Sinclair delivered remarks documenting her journey from mathematics to political science, her research focus, and how we can all better democracy by just speaking to our neighbors.
