Director of the Weidenbaum Center and Professor of Political Science, Andrew Reeves, has published a new article in The Conversation. The article, titled, "Trump treats laws as obstacles, not limits − and the only real check on his rule-breaking can come from political pressure", explores why legal limits alone can’t constrain a defiant president. Reeves looks at what the courts can do to hold the current administration in check, how that same administration is testing the courts' limits, and what the biggest check to hold the administration accountable actually is.
